International, award-winning, world-jazz group Veronneau return to the Maryland area to perform at the new Severna Park dinner-jazz venue of Cafe Mezzanotte The DC based band featuring musicians from the UK, Canada and Brazil, are celebrating their 10 year anniversary - 10 years which have given the band 3 top ten CD hits in the Jazz and World Music charts, 6 Washington Area WAMMIE Awards for Best Group, Vocals and Recording, and a healthy touring schedule including tours in the UK, Europe, Canada and the US, as well as regular appearances at notable local venues such as Blues Alley, Kennedy Center, Strathmore and DC Jazz Festival.
Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau performs classics and original songs in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese as the band excels in performance of bossa nova, samba, and French chanson, framed by the twin, nylon string acoustic jazz guitars of her band mates, over a Brazilian percussion beat.
