Join us for an evening celebrating the Passover Seder. Rabbi Philip Pohl will describe the celebratory meal that is held during Passover, reliving the exodus of the Hebrew slaves of Egypt. Learn how the seder serves as a teaching tool promoting freedom.
Rabbi Pohl served as rabbi of Congregation B'nai Shalom of Olney from 1978 to 2005, Congregation Nevey Shalom in Bowie from 2006 to 2008, and Congregation Kol Shalom in Anne Arundel County until his retirement in 2018. Among his many degrees and honors, he holds a Doctorate of Divinity from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is a co-founder of the Washington Jewish Healing Network, a consortium of lectures, activities, and services that promoted Jewish healing resources. Unity by the Bay is honored to welcome him to our spiritual center.
