Dr. Boles received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, completed his post-doctoral training at a Harvard University Cornea research lab, a Yale University affiliated Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut, George Washington University for Ophtahalmology Residency, and the University of California, San Diego, for Glaucoma Fellowship. He helped originate the Glaucoma Co-Management Roundtable to improve patient care through better communication and education. Dr. Boles is a former member of the Board of Directors at The Polakoff Foundation and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Society for Sight. He is an active volunteer in the community offering periodic free screenings and specific community outreach programs.
