Two of the three Panelists: Developer Jerry Parks and Restaurateur Gavin Buckley talked about why they had invested in Annapolis and how they selected the retail and restaurants they included in their projects. and Maria Broadbent, the new Director of the Department of Neighborhood and Environmental Services was asked what she perceived as her biggest challenges in implementing the approvals process.

The next commercial district meeting is the Downtown Forum, to be held May 11th at Marriott Waterfront 8am-10am. On the agenda will be the preliminary AEDC and BBP LLC Retail Market Study results and waterfront redevelopment.
