Easton, MD - Studio B Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of their spring art exhibit ‘Art in Bloom’ on Friday, May 6. New artwork by the gallery’s talented artists will be unveiled during the spring showing and will feature floral scenes and the beauty that comes each spring.
Come enjoy a meet and greet with gallery artist Bernard Dellario and gallery owner/artist Betty Huang on May 6 from 5-8 p.m. The exhibit’s opening reception, or ‘Art Salon’ as Betty prefers to call it, will coincide with ‘Easton Night Out’. Easton merchants and restaurants will be open late throughout the downtown district on the first Friday evening of May.
“Bernie and I wanted to have an opening reception that gives us a forum to talk about all things art,” Studio B Art Gallery owner Betty Huang said. “The Art Salon as we envision is more than just refreshments and cheese platters, we want to have engaging conversations about art, technique, and styles in a relaxed atmosphere that’s inviting to all.”
Bernard Dellario will join Betty during the Salon to talk about his new works. Bernard has studied drawing and painting at the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia and has taken several workshops with nationally recognized artists. He exhibits and has won awards through several venues, teaches painting workshops, and has juried local art competitions.
Studio B Art Gallery recently announced that Master Jove Wang will be returning to Maryland’s Eastern Shore for a new spring workshop. The Plein Air Workshop with Master Jove Wang will be held July 11 – July 15 in Easton, Maryland.
“Master Jove Wang was recently announced as the Juror for this year’s Plein Air Easton event and he will be the Judge for Plein Air Easton 2023,” Betty said. “He is usually found teaching in California, so having him spend so much time with us in Easton is a real treat.”
Betty will be answering questions about the July workshop and offering advance registration during the Art in Bloom opening reception.
