Annapolis, MD- The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County (ACAAC) presented the 2022 Annie Awards celebrating local excellence in the arts on October 11, 2022. This year marks the 22nd anniversary of the awards, which publicly recognize individuals for their lasting, significant, and inspiring contributions to an art form, an arts organization and/or to the wider community of Anne Arundel County. Awards were presented to the following recipients:
Laura Brino – Arts Education
Chanel Compton – Arts Leadership
Matt McConville – Arts Maverick
Tara Balfe Clifford – Arts Patron
Lyndra Marshall (née Pratt) – Historic Arts
Susan Moger – Literary Arts
Terry S. Koger – Performing Arts
Dan Kuhne – Visual Arts
Ronald Brown – Lifetime Achievement
The awards were presented on Tuesday, October 11th at Maryland Hall in Annapolis. The ceremony began at 5:30 in the main auditorium, followed by a reception in the Bowen Theater. Entertainment included a classical guitar performance by Jóvenes Artistas, with special guest star Andrés Felipe Palacios.
