The shooting guard for the Lady Lions hoops team, Karly is a teammate of fellow Fe uary featured athlete Jordan Mitchell in two sports. Karly has been a team player off the field as well, assuming the role of Historian for the QACHS chapter of Student Government and taking part in Young Life, a Christian youth outreach organization.
“I enjoy the teamwork most,” Karly says. “Just a group of girls with the ability to work together toward a common vision, no matter how blurry that vision becomes.”
Karly hopes to help the lacrosse team gather a few fans in the spring, as the Lady Lions try to repeat as regional champs; the ladies posted a 16-1-1 record last spring. A big Disney movie fan, Karly lives in Centreville with her parents, Bo and Dianne; she has two grown siblings, Kimberly, who’s 30, and Steven, who’s 24.r
