David Harp to speak at Main Street Gallery in Cam idge. Don't miss the opportunity to hear renowned Chesapeake Bay photographer David Harp speak about his many years photographing the flora, fauna, people and landscape of the Chesapeake Bay!
This event, sponsored by the Main Street Gallery and the Dorchester Citizens for Planned Growth, will take place during a reception on Saturday, Aug. 6th from 6-9pm at the Main Street Gallery on 413 Muir Street in Cam idge. Nearby free parking is available.
Mr. Harp will begin speaking at 7:30pm. His presentation entitled "Light on the Chesapeake" recently attracted over 100 people at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center near Annapolis. Slides of his captivating photographs will accompany his talk. "Light on the Chesapeake" is being presented in conjunction with the gallery's current show, "Metamorphosis," which features Mr. Harp's work, along with art from the gallery's local artists.
Donations to help support the gallery and future programs are requested; light refreshments will be served. The Main Street Gallery is an artist-run and owned venue, and is fully accessible.
