A guest artist show, “Fells Point Comes to the Shore” featuring eight members of the Art Gallery of Fells Point, opened with a well-attended reception at the Art League of Ocean City on Friday, October 7th.
The exhibit, which runs from October 4th through October 29th features artworks in oil, watercolor, photography, and collage. The featured artists are: Carol Stanley Aaron, Maria Cavacos, Nancy Conner, George Edwards, George Murrill, Sharon Parrish, Barbara Schatz and Bonnie Sybert. The Art Gallery of Fells Point is located at 1716 Thames Street, Fells Point. The Art League of Ocean City is located on the bayside at 502 94th Street. The gallery is open Tuesday-Friday from 11-4pm, Saturday and Sunday 1-4pm.
The Art League of Ocean City is a non-profit organization dedicated to inging the visual arts to the community through education, exhibits, scholarship programs and public service projects. Financial support comes primarily through membership dues from individuals and corporate sponsors. Funding is also provided through grants from the Worcester County Arts Council. The Art League of Ocean City is grateful to the Town of Ocean City for allowing the organization to use the town’s facility on 94th Street.
