Comedians:
r
Kevin Lee: A unique combination of comedy, magic and juggling leave audiences both in awe and in crutches. Having appeared on "Showtime at the Apollo", HBO's "Def Comedy Jam", and Jamie Foxx's "Uptown Comedy Club", Lee was also voted "Washington's Funniest Comedian" by Washingtonian Magazine. Audiences are wowed by Kevin's ability to juggle bowling balls, frying pans, machetes...you name it. His fire and sword-swallowing is also a must see.
Kevin's stage career began in 1983 at The Comedy Cafe here in Washington DC where he placed first in the very first comedy competition he ever entered. After a quick stint as a street entertainer in DC, Lee moved to Venice Beach. It was there that he honed his craft, building his repertoire of comedy, magic and juggling to audiences of all ages and walks of life.
Jared Stern: Is making audiences laugh up and down the east coast and beyond. His mild-mannered style and sardonic observations are the cornerstones of his act. One audience member commented that Jared has, "that inside out sense of humor with just enough intelligence to be dangerous--I love that." Some call his comedy "cere al", others "intestinal", and still others attribute it to an overactive thyroid.
Jared has worked with national headliners Jeff Ross, Louis CK, Richard Lewis, Bobby Slayton, Kelly Terranova, Judah Friedlander, Gary Valentine, Todd Barry, Tony Woods, Mike Birbiglia, and Brett Leake.
You can hear him on XM Comedy Channel 150 and on 106.7 WJFK's Comedy Nonsense show.
Kelly Terranova: (Event host and emcee)
For man who bills himself as "The World's Only Vegetarian NASCAR Fan", this comedian seems to have energy that you would think could only come from animal protein. When Terranova takes the stage, as he has done in more than 1,000 venues nationwide, audiences are taken on an energetic and slightly cynical look at America's pop culture icons...from our fascination with figure skating to NASCAR racing to riverboat gambling.
Kelly is featured on CMT's hilarious program, CMT's Comedy Stage. He was a finalist in both the Funny Bone Comedy Club's World Series of Comedy and Carnival Cruise Line's Las Vegas Comedy Challenge. Kelly has appeared with Michael Bolton, The Doobie Brothers, Jim Breuer, Brett Butler and Tim Wilson. To learn more about him, visit www.kellyisfunny.com
