According to one version of Father Andrew White’s account of the voyage of the Ark and the Dove, colonists formally founded the colony of Maryland on March 25th 1633/34. And now, Four Rivers Heritage Area will commemorate the event with the Fifth Annual Maryland Day Cele ation.
Maryland Day will take place at locations throughout the Heritage Area of Annapolis, London Town, and South County on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 23rd–25th. Throughout the weekend, cultural, historical,and natural resource sites will open their doors to the public for special events, tours, and programs.
