The Severn Town Club donated $30,000 to the Wellness House of Annapolis on January 20, 2012. The funds were raised during their annual Holly Ball event, held December 2, 2011. The event raised a total of $46,000, the largest amount in its history, which was divided among local non-profit organizations, including Wellness House of Annapolis.
The Severn Town Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs whose members are a diverse group of women who are homemakers, professional and businesswomen living in Annapolis and AnneArundel County.
Wellness House of Annapolis is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization offering services and programs to assist those living with cancer and their loved ones, including children. Wellness House of Annapolis is a support facility designed to be a home-like setting and a gathering place separate from clinical environments. Working in cooperation with area hospitals, our volunteer staff includes medical and counseling professionals and cancer survivors. All services are free and open to anyone who has been affected by cancer, and funded by community volunteer support and donations.
