Katie Pumphrey in Baltimore's Inner Harbor
Annapolis, MD - Baltimore resident, Katie Pumphrey, invites everyone to follow and cheer her on for a history making 24-mile swim starting at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge at Sandy Point State Park to Harborplace Amphitheater in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Pumphrey's swim "will serve as a celebration for the decades-long clean up efforts to make the Baltimore Harbor swimmable, and a safe recreational resource for the city." Her swim window will be from June 23 - 27, 2024 starting at 3am and is estimated to be a 12-13 hour swim depending on water and weather conditions.
