A member of National Honor Society, Student Government Association, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, as well as a three-year Minds in Motion Scholar-Athlete, Rachel is the indoor regional and conference champ in the pole vault, having recently also finished sixth in the state.
“I enjoy playing with my friends and being able to have a competitive mind,” Rachel says, “but still have sportsmanship. My life is live- eathe-eat sports and my motto is ‘hard work and hard play will equal success.'”
Rachel is the first of Chuck and Tracey Sturm's two daughters; the other, Christine, is a sophomore at Caroline.
