In that time, he has honed his experience to narrow down and focus his practice on real estate and corporate law. “My goal is to provide quality, experienced representation in a few choice areas of the law where I feel I can best represent my clients.” Fuoco is a graduate of Gettysburg College and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. Fuoco began working with a small law firm in 1983 before opening his own practice in 1986. “My interest in real estate led me in that direction. I enjoy solving problems, whether they be related to zoning issues, development concerns, or boundary disputes. In addition, I handle nearly all aspects of real estate transactions from contracts to closings, and everything in between.” Fuoco also practices in the corporate realm, setting up new entities with one owner or entities with several investors requiring complex buy-sell agreements. He also handles transactions for the purchase and sale of businesses. “The problem each client brings is unique, and is enormously important to that client. As a result, that problem needs personal attention and a commitment to resolve it. When I look back at the end of the day, I don’t want it to be about how much money I made. I want to look back and ask whether I solved the problems my clients brought to me, and whether they were satisfied with the resolutions we reached. If the answer to both questions is ‘yes’, then I will have done my job as an attorney.”
