More than $50,000 was raised to benefit the school. Severn School parents Donna Hagen and Jennifer McGowan co-hosted the event, which took place in the completely transformed Edward St. John Athletic Center on the school’s Severna Park campus. Silent and live auction items were up for bid. Severn School is Anne Arundel County’s oldest independent school, founded in 1914. With nearly 600 students in grades 6-12, Severn School challenges its students to pursue excellence in character, conduct, and scholarship.r
