brbrOutside of her full-time job as a Coldwell Banker Real Estate Agent, Arentz has been a member of the Bosom Buddies Charities for the last 11 years and currently sits as the Chair of this nonprofit organization. During her time with the charity, Arentz has been a part of a community that not only raises money, but is constantly raising awareness.

brbrMost recently, the Bosom Buddies Charity was honored with a street on the Anne Arundel Medical Center Campus called Bosom Buddies Way after raising $1.5 million in donations. If you haven’t seen it, head around Belcher Pavilion, where it used to be called West Drive, and you’ll see the pink sign with white lettering on both ends of the street. You won’t want to miss it!

Twelfth Night: A Christmas Concert

brJoin the Élan Ensemble ladies for a festive harp and voice Christmas concert in the ballroom at Hammond-Harwood House, as they celebrate the 12th day of Christmas in a traditional 19th century manner. During the 1800's, Christmas day was reserved for family celebrations and helping those less fortunate, while Twelfth Night marked the society event of the season, where friends and loved ones gathered together to celebrate the final hours of Christmas cheer.

brHead over to Sam’s on the Waterfront for a great annual oyster festival! The party will feature live music from Peter James. The festival will be mainly outside, weather permitting. Conditions permitting, thousands of Canada geese, tundra swans, scup, ruddy ducks, buffleheads, mallards, black ducks, canvasbacks, mergansers, grebes, and wood ducks can be spotted as the winter progresses. Resident bald eagles are often observed at Eastern Neck, as well as other local wildlife.
