Step into our American Story with a special guided tour for homeschool families at the Museum of Historic Annapolis. Discover the diverse stories of revolutionaries, civil rights leaders and other changemakers throughout our shared history. Then, walk with us to the oldest state capitol building in continuous legislative use. At the Maryland State House, action and change happens every day! Walk in the footsteps of George Washington through the Old Senate Chamber, and stand in the Old House of Delegates Chamber – where Maryland voted to abolish slavery.
Free Master Gardener Speaker Event: "Create Your Climate-Friendly Landscape"

At the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, Talbot County Master Gardeners invite you to explore how weather extremes and changing climate could impact you and how you might plan ahead to “Create Your Climate-Friendly Landscape” with DR. SARA VIA, University of Maryland Professor & Climate Extension Specialist. After detailing climate change and its impact on residential landscapes, Dr. Via will suggest small, practical steps that you can take at home to build regenerative landscapes. At landscape solution stations, you can “Ask a Master Gardener” for specific landscape advice.

Ask representatives about admission requirements, programs of study, financial aid opportunities, campus life, and information sessions for prospective students. You can also take a guided walking tour of the AACC campus, the new Health and Life Sciences building, and the Clauson Skilled Trade Center. Registration for tours is required, so be sure to sign up for the tours of your choice when you register for the College Fair.
American Craft Made Baltimore Marketplace

March 15-17, 2024, marks the return of the American Craft Council’s (ACC) flagship event at the Baltimore Convention Center, American Craft Made Baltimore Marketplace. The three-day, immersive event allows guests to celebrate all things handmade, by showcasing a juried selection of 350 artists from across the country and highlighting the work of local craft organizations, schools, and partners.

On March 16, 2024, the Eagle Festival returns with live birds-of-prey programs, Refuge tours and eagle prowls, children's activities and more! You can find the schedule of events on the Blackwater NWR website. The Wildlife Drive and events are free on March 16. The eagle population at Blackwater NWR this winter has been very healthy, and in March, adults will be actively nesting at the Refuge, so it's a great time to visit!

Shamrock The Dock 2024 will be a two day music and cultural festival with global and local acts. We will have a main stage featuring Bands such as Seven Nations, Scythian, Barley Juice, The Doug Segree Band, Carbon Leaf and all the way from Scotland, Skerryvore! Our second stage and tent will showcase Irish Dancing, pipe bands and other acts.

Join the Anne Arundel Bird Club on their monthly walk through Quiet Waters Park on paved paths through habitat that includes mature deciduous forest, wood edges, mowed fields, wetlands, and a native plant garden, along with sweeping views of the open waters of the South River and Harness Creek. The parade will line up at Amos Garrett Boulevard, turn onto West Street, travel clockwise around Church Circle and out Main Street, continue clockwise around Randall/Compromise Circle and continue down Randall Street
