In response to the British Parliament’s closing of the port of Boston, the citizens of Chestertown, Maryland met in May of 1774 and set forth “Resolves” forbidding importing, selling, or consuming tea in Chestertown. Tea Toss Reenactment, Colonial Parade, Street Party, Raft Race, Street Performances, Colonial Crafts, Strolling Musicians, Local Fare, 5k & 10-mile run, and more including a Wine and Craft Beer Tasting held on Sunday at Wilmer Park from noon to 4 p.m. The event will feature local Maryland wineries and craft brewers.

Classic Motor Museum Memorial Day Parade
May 25th; Downtown St. Michaels
The CMM is proud to bring our community together in honoring the service of our military heroes by hosting the Annual Classic Motor Museum Parade which will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 10:30 am – 11:30 am! The participants will line up at Perry Cabin Park, and will head down Talbot St, pausing near Railroad Avenue for the emcee to announce the make, model, and driver of the vehicle, before continuing through the rest of town until turning left onto Seymour Avenue. The parade will end at the Classic Motor Museum at 102 E. Marengo St.

Wear your red, white, and blue to honor our Veteran’s Service at the Annual Strawberry Chase 5K and 43rd Annual Ridgely Strawberry Festival on Sunday, May 26, 2024. The course is a flat loop including the town’s rail trail and scenic farmland west of Ridgely. Start and finish is at Martin Sutton Park.
Downtown Annapolis Memorial Day Parade

The City of Annapolis will host a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 27, 2024. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. at Amos Garrett Boulevard and West Street, with the parade making its way around Church Circle, down Main Street and concluding at City Dock.
