I can't do a pull-up or a push-up, so traditional exercises are out of the question, and even more importantly, I am vainly terrified of building bulk.
r
Then, a co-worker sent me a link to a Tracy Anderson workout, which, she says, people “swear by.”
r
The video is five minutes long—right up my alley—so I went home and tried it. It is so fun.
r
So fun, in fact, that if my arms didn't burn for two days afterward, I would never have believed it worked. I did some research online, watched a few interviews with Tracy Anderson , and I learned that the workout is designed specifically to tone and tighten and not to bulk. Perfection. And according to a video interview I found on YouTube featuring Kelly Ripa, Anderson works with cele ities including Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow. Have you seen their arms!?
r
This week's challenge is to groove along with the video every night for the next six days. (I doubt JA and GP take Saturdays off.)
r
Hopefully, by then I'll love the feeling so much I'll keep it going. (And let's get serious. Five minutes? I should be able to make time for this.)
r
There are a million (it seems) Tracy Anderson workout videos on YouTube, but this is the one I'm using.
r
Wish me luck! And if you try it, let me know how it goes!
