Wye River Upper School is an independent, non-profit middle and high school that changes the lives of students who learn differently due to dyslexia, ADHD, executive function needs, anxiety, high-functioning autism, and more. Our program provides a well-rounded, rigorous, individualized curriculum that recognizes and develops each student’s strengths. Our inclusive and uniquely supportive environment enables students to thrive and grow socially and academically.
Wye River Upper School offers a holistic approach that addresses the needs of those we serve through small classes, real-world problem-solving, and experiential hands-on learning. We provide an experience where our students feel comfortable to be their true selves and learn to take healthy risks to develop their unique talents and abilities. During their time at Wye River, students’ lives are transformed as they build friendships and establish an independence and confidence that will allow them to be successful in college, career, and life.
