If you’re doing any last-minute shopping, be sure to spend some time at the shops in Downtown Annapolis for 11th Hour on Thursday, December 19 at 5 p.m. Local businesses will stay open until 11 p.m. on Maryland Avenue, State Circle and Main Street. The Annapolis Circulator trolleys will be running free of charge for your convenience. Enjoy musical performances with food and refreshments at several stores.
Take in the sounds of the season with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s holiday pops concert Christmas in Annapolis on Friday at 8 p.m. The ASO will be accompanied by the hit vocal group Five By Design for a festive Maryland Hall performance. Through Christmas Eve, Baltimore's Inner Harbor West Shore Park is converted into a traditional German Christmas Market for “Christmas Village in Baltimore.” This theme, which is expanding from Philadelphia, provides vendors in more than 60 booths that will sell traditional European food, sweets and drinks with a shopping experience with international holiday gifts, ornaments, jewelry and high-quality arts and crafts. Join the Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating staff and board of directors for A Holiday Evening with CRAB at the Annapolis Maritime Museum for an evening of music, holiday cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from some of the best local restaurants. Door prizes and silent auction items from Pandora, Fawcett Boat Supplies and more will be on hand. The entry fee is a tax deductible donation of $20 per person.
