Three Dog Night: Rams Head On Stage, Annapolis, September 5th
Between 1969 and 1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets than Three Dog Night. The music legends responsible for songs like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come),” “Joy to the World,” and “Black and White” will be performing at Rams Head On Stage on Thursday, September 5th, 8 p.m. Tickets are $115 and can be purchased here.
Don McLean: Rams Head On Stage, Annapolis, September 8th
Singer-songwriter Don McLean has accrued more than 40 gold and platinum records worldwide in his nearly 50 years of performing. Best known for the classic “American Pie,” McLean has been inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Grammy Hall of Fame. His original songs have been covered by artists such as Elvis, Helen Reddy, Glen Campbell, George Michael, and Madonna. Don McLean will be performing at Rams Head On Stage on Sunday, September 8th, 8 p.m. Tickets are $89.50 and can be purchased here.
The B-52s: The Anthem, D.C., September 17th
The B-52s were one of the first American new wave acts to gain mainstream visibility. Known for quirky hits including “Love Shack” and “Rock Lobster,” the Grammy-nominated group has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. The band kicked off their celebratory 40th anniversary world tour in May. The B-52s will be performing at The Anthem on Tuesday, September 17th, 8 p.m. Tickets range from $55–95 and can be purchased here.
Jade Bird: 9:30 Club, D.C., September 28th
Americana singer-songwriter Jade Bird rose to popularity in 2018 when her single “Lottery” topped Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs chart. The 21-year-old London-based musician released her self-titled debut album in April 2019, which featured subsequent singles “Uh Huh” and “I Get No Joy.” Bird has opened for acts such as Brandi Carlile, First Aid Kid, Hozier, and Father John Misty and Jason Isbell. Jade Bird will be performing at the 9:30 Club on Saturday, September 28th, 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
Wynonna Judd & The Big Noise: Avalon Theatre, Easton, September 26th
Wynonna Judd first gained popularity as one half of the mother-daughter country music duo The Judds. The four-time Grammy Award nominee has released eight studio albums as a solo artist, three of which are certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry of America (RIAA). Wynonna Judd and her band, The Big Noise, will be performing at the Avalon Theatre on Thursday, September 26th, 8 p.m. Tickets range from $60–100 and can be purchased here.
