Pulled pork is the epitome of comfort food. You can slap it on a sandwich, wrap it in a burrito, eat it with some nachos or just gobble it down plain. This version uses root beer BBQ sauce for an extra kick of flavor. br
Ingredients
1 large pork tenderloin
1/4 cup root beer BBQ sauce
1/4 cup traditional BBQ sauce
1 cup root beer
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. own sugar
additional BBQ for drizzling
Directions
Combine all of the ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook over high for 4 hours (or low for 8 hours). Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and place it on the baking sheet. Use two forks to shred the meat. Sprinkle with own sugar and drizzle additional BBQ sauce on top. Place in the oven for 10 minutes. The edges will just be crispy. Serves on sandwiches or with veggies as a side.
