Grill up a couple of patties for dad this weekend with these delicious, creative burgers.

8 ounces sweet turkey Italian sausage
1 pound ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
Salt and pepper Fresh mozzarella slices Ciabatta Rolls
Fresh basil leaves 1 cup marinara sauce, warmed

Preheat the grill or grill pan. Remove the casings from the sausage and combine with the ground beef, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well, but don't over-mix it. Divide the mixture into six portions and shape into patties.
Cook the grill or grill pan with cooking spray and grill for approximately 5 minutes. Turn the patties over and grill for an additional two minutes. Top each burger with a slice of fresh mozzarella and let it melt. Split the rolls in half and place on the grill to toast. Remove, and layer the bottom roll with fresh basil leaves.
Transfer the burger to the bun and top with a spoonful of marinara sauce.
