to
Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum 213 N Talbot S, Saint Michaels, Maryland 21663
The Maryland Dove will be visiting the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, and will be open for boarding to all CBMM guests. The vessel is a reproduction of the 17th century trading ship that accompanied the first European setters to what is now Maryland. Built in a shipyard near Cambridge, Md., in 1978, Maryland Dove is owned by the state of Maryland and operated and maintained by the Historic St. Mary’s City Commission. From now through 2021, CBMM’s working Shipyard will be constructing the ship’s successor in full public view.
