Annapolis, MD - Fisher, a lost dog from Annapolis, went missing on July 4th 2020 in Ocean City, MD and has been reunited with his family almost 9 months later after being found in Baltimore this week. According to the Professional Pet Trackers Facebook Page, the family had done everything in their power to find him, including hiring a K9 search dog.
"The entire city of Ocean City MD was papered in lost dog flyers, boats with banners went out displaying the cute Boston Terriers picture, Fishers Popcorn sent out various posts all pleading for anyone who knew anything to please come forward and reunite Fisher with his fur-parents. Unfortunately only one or two 'possible' sightings came in over the next several weeks and Carmen and K9 Magic traveled back to Ocean City to see if they could pick up scent but got negatives at each location."
A Facebook Group named "Find Fisher!" was created to help locate Fisher and gained an audience of over 7k members. The dedication of this group is the reason Fisher was able to finally make his way back home. Fisher's owner states that "after a bit of an adrenaline rush" she was able to verify it was indeed Fisher that had been found because of the microchip number. Below is a statement from Fisher's owner posted on Find Fisher! :
