As the pandemic persists, many holiday traditions and events are being canceled. However, there is one shining light that will not go out this holiday season. Lights on the Bay returns to Sandy Point State Park on Friday, November 20th for its 26th year to celebrate 100 years of the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
The event makes for a great experience for families as well as their furry friends. The two-mile scenic drive through the park runs nightly from 5pm-10pm until January 2nd, 2021. It features over 60 dazzling animated and stationary light displays that are set to this year’s theme of North Pole Adventure. If you really want to see the displays come to life, 3D glasses will be available for purchase for $5.
Due to Anne Arundel County’s rise in COVID-19 cases, social distancing guidelines must be followed. Patrons must remain in their cars.
Admission is $20 per car, $30 for large passenger vans, and $50 for buses. All proceeds go to benefitting the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
