A night to cele ate the South River Watershed and its surrounding community, the 11th Annual South River on the Half Shell Live & Silent Auction is back this weekend at Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville.

Following the evening's theme of environmental awareness and conservation, the party will be a zero-waste event, thanks to Annapolis Green, Rentals to Remember, and Veteran Compost, meaning everything guests use is compostable or recyclable!

What can guests expect? Throughout the night, guests will enjoy a party filled with fabulous food, a complimentary open bar, live entertainment, and lots of great auction items. The South River Federation will hand out special awards to the 2015 South River Hero, Volunteer of the Year, and Corporate Stewardship recipients. The event will reach its pinnacle with the live auction, which you don’t want to miss! Trust us! There's even the chance to win an all-inclusive, three-night stay for two, airfare included, to your choice of Jamaica or the Bahamas.
Food and drinks? Complimentary champagne will greet guests as they enter Homestead Gardens’ beautiful Cele ate Maryland Spring Open House. Throughout the evening, guests will be treated to heavy hors d'oeuvres, courtesy of Palate Pleasers, mini cupcakes, provided by Cakes by Rachael, and an open bar - sure to keep hunger and thirst at bay! And with a name like "South River on the Half Shell," you can certainly expect plenty of freshly-shucked oysters to be available.
What about parking? There is plenty of parking at Homestead Gardens and, even better, it's free.
The dress code? Annapolis casual. We're not talking ballgowns and tuxes, but consider the evening a date night and leave the jeans at home!
