The Details
What can guests expect? Enjoy fine food and refreshments from the region’s top caterers, silent and live auctions with auctioneer Michael Ernst of Blue Crab Antiques, Inc., and music and dancing with Larry Gershon. And, it wouldn't be a privateer party without festive attire, so be sure to dress up accordingly!
Food and drinks? While not exactly a formal dinner, there's no need to consider eating before arriving at the party, since they'll be plenty of food for guests to enjoy. The evening boasts 12 caterers (including Main Ingredient, Palate Pleasers, Saucy Salamander, and Julie St. Marie's -- click here for a full list!) that will offer complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Additionally, guests receive two free drinks with admission! And, if you're still craving another drink (or two!), a cash bar will be available, offering alcoholic beverages for $5 per drink. Even better, VIP ticket holders receive unlimited complimentary drinks throughout the evening!
What about parking? Historic London Town and Gardens offers complimentary, on-site parking.
Are tickets still available? If you've yet to purchase your tickets, it's not too late! Snag 'em now online or simply purchase at the door! General admission tickets are $75 per person; VIP are $125 per person, including a private auction preview at 5:30 p.m. and unlimited drinks.
The dress code? The decision to opt for fancy or fun attire is all yours! Rock a gorgeous cocktail dress (or snazzy suit!) or show your more adventurous side with a privateer-inspired costume. Not exactly sure what that might entail? Check out the photo gallery above, featuring some snapshots from last year's event!
