You will be challenged to question and to learn by engaging speakers on eight diverse topics including maritime history, local history, science and maritime art. Admission is $10 per person for non-members and FREE for first Mate and above Members. Ospreys on the Patuxent: Their Important Role in this Ecosystem. Explore osprey biology on the Patuxent River, diet behavior and threats to population. The provision of nesting platforms and re-introduction efforts of the osprey. Enjoy a stroll in Annapolis’ historic district led by a period-attired guide. Visit sites connected to the woman appointed as Maryland’s official printer in the 18th century; the woman who responded to General Washington’s plea to save Continental soldiers in the Revolutionary War; the runaway female slave called "Moses" who led her people to freedom; and many “firsts” in the government and at the United States Naval Academy. Tour content best suited for children 9 and up.

The 4th Annual St. Michaels ChocolateFest will be held March 5, 2022 and will include restaurant chefs conjuring up amazing delectable special menu items to showcase chocolate inspired dishes and desserts. Our inns and bed and breakfasts will feature chocolate inspired get-away packages. The Chocolate Crawl will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. throughout the town of St. Michaels at participating businesses and restaurants. Chocolate lovers will enjoy shopping throughout town sampling amazing artisan chocolates, desserts, locally crafted wine, beer and spirits.

Her Ideas, Her Stories: Women Artists
March 7th through April 28th; Chesapeake Arts Center, Brooklyn Park
Women artists have often been overlooked and undervalued. Though gender bias is less apparent today, women artists continue to face many obstacles and disparities – especially minority women. The Chesapeake Arts Center is committed to diversifying the gallery by acquiring the work of women artists and to highlighting the art of creative women. Their identities as women influence their artwork in various, unique ways.
