Grabbing a tea bag is easy, yes. But having your own chai tea spice on hand is better. The smell is fantastic, wafting through the house. And it allows you the ability to have chai tea whenever you please. br
Ingredients
1 Tbsp. fennel seeds
6 green cardamom pods
12 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
6 black peppercorns
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a jar. Store in the pantry. To make tea, combine ingredients in a pot with 6 cups of water and two black tea bags. Bring to a boil for five minutes. Remove from heat and steep for ten minutes. Strain and discard spices. Tea can be stored in the fridge until ready to use.
