There’s something about Mexican food that makes it hard to resist. It could be the abundant flavors or the spicy kick of heat. Either way, it’s perfect for warmer weather. Slap together a heaping bowl of guacamole, some homemade tortillas and lay out a spread fit for a feast. Be sure to include DIY Margarita Mix. On a hot day, sometimes there is nothing like a cold margarita. This mix, made with the juice of fresh limes, is perfect to keep on hand for when the urge to down some margs hits. br
Ingredients
½ cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup fresh lime juice
Directions
Combine sugar and water in a sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Pour the sugar mixture into the lime juice and stir well. To make margaritas, combine the mix with ¾ cup tequila and ½ cup orange liquer.
Makes 1 batch of margarita mix.
