August is National Goat Cheese Month and we couldn’t be more excited about it. When I was younger, goat cheese was such an exotic ingredient. Now, I never leave the grocery store without a small wheel of it in my cart. It adds a richness to every dish you toss it in and gives a much needed twang to sweets. The idea of combining it with honey is maybe a little different, but the two compliment each other perfectly.
Ingredients
2 ounces goat cheese
1 Tbsp. fresh thyme
2 slices oat ead, toasted and halved
Honey for drizzling
Directions
Place the goat cheese in a bowl. Stir in thyme to combine. Spread the cheese onto the toast. Drizzle with honey.
