The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County’s annual fundraiser was held Saturday, March 19th, at the Loews Annapolis Hotel. This year’s theme, “An Evening in Venice,” included a cocktail reception, dinner, live and silent auctions, plus dancing and entertainment that featured live sculptures, face painting, and an opera troubadour. The evening raised about $40,000 to support the arts and historic preservation in Anne Arundel County—$2,500 of which will fund scholarships for young art students.
