The Balloon Burner Bake Off at The Tidewater Inn
The Tidewater Inn will be hosting the Balloon Burner Bakeoff on Thursday, July 30. The judge’s table will be set up at 4:30 PM and the event will commence at 5 PM. WECI Radio will preside as the MC. A balloon gondola will stand in the two parking spaces in front of the Tidewater Inn on East Dover Street. Contestants will individually step up to the top of the balloon burner holding a fry pan with the dessert recipe pre-prepared and hold it over the 15 million BTU balloon flame. After one or two short blasts the chef will climb down and serve their dessert to be judged on a scale of 1 (awful) to 10 (fantastic).
The Winery will be hosting a yappy hour on Friday, July 24 from 4 to 7 PM. They will be pouring Chateau Le Paws wine and the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. will be visiting with their dogs.
