New menu changes at the Main Ingredient Café
The Main Ingredient Café’s new eakfast menu debuted on Monday, October 6th and includes classics like steak & eggs, Chesapeake Benedict, fruit crepes, and corned beef hash skillet. The new menu has been formatted to be sleeker and to cover a oad range of taste palates. Christina Rossetti, the general manger at Main Ingredient said, “The menu was made to continue our gourmet comfort food theme, all the while keeping fresh and quality ingredients key, as that is what the Main Ingredient is known for throughout the Annapolis community”. The new menu will also offer gluten-free red skin potatoes. The new lunch menu debuts on Monday, October 13th. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, especially for Main Ingredient’s “pink” desserts during the month of October, which helps raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Holiday Season Food Drive at the Main Ingredient Café
The Main Ingredient is having a food drive, and will be collecting dry-good items during the months of October, November, and December to donate to local families. There will be two deliveries to the Maryland Food Bank before Thanksgiving and before Christmas. There will be a collection box in the Main Ingredient vestibule area. The most needed items include:
- Canned proteins: tuna, salmon, chicken, peanut butter, and beans
- Breakfast items: cereal, oatmeal, quick oats, granola, cereal bars
- Canned vegetables
- Canned soups
- Pasta & rice
- Fruits and juices
- Dairy-shelf-stable milk and infant formula
